Observation califlower 11/18 (Rie)

This week I observed the califlower. The tempurture was cold. The califlower in the normal soil was19 cm tall and 25 cm wide. The califlower in the fertilized soil was 28cm tall and 32 cm wide. Compared to the califlower in the normal soil, the califlower in the fertilized soil looks really large.

The califlower looks healthy. The califlower in the fertilized soil seems to be eaten their leafs by insects.   This time, I ovserved them with Kana. I enjoyed it ,but it was cold .

Observation cabgge11/11 (Rie)

I observed the cabbage. This week, it rained a lot. The cabbage  in the normal soil was 20cm tall and 30cm wide. The cabbage in the fertilized soil was 20cm tall and 35cm wide. The cabbage in the normal soil has grown 9cm tall  6cm wide since first week. The broccoli in the fertilized soil has grown 5cm tall 10cm wide  since last week. Compared to the broccoli's wide in the normal soil, the broccoli' s wide in the fertilized soil is broader.

The cabbage looks healthy. There are no insects and animals.
It is difficult to observe vegetables because of  a large pool in the garden!

Observation11/5 (Rie)

This week I observed the broccoli . the temperature was cool. The broccoli in the normal soil was 25cm tall and 30cm wide. The broccoli in the fertilized soil was 35cm tall and 40cm wide. The broccli in the normal soil has grown 5cm tall since first week . The broccoli in the fertilized soil has grown 15cm tall 5cm wide since first week. Compared to the broccli in the normal soil, the broccoli n the fertilized soil seems to be glowing quickly. The broccoli in the normal soil  seems to be glowing steadily.

The brocclies look healthy, but insects ate their leafs.
When I finished to ovserve alone, it was getting dark.

Observation 10/30 (Rie)

I observed lettuce Octover30. The day was KIT festival!
The lettuse in the normal soil was 5cm tall and 11cm wide. The lettuce in the fertilized soil was 10cm tall and 15cm wide. Compared to the lettuce in the normal soil, the lettuce in the fertilized soil looks larger and they has grown, each one at  a diffrent size. The lettuce in the normal soil has grown at same size.

observation 1023-1029 Haruki

 
This week I observed Hakusai. Last week, it was cloudy and rainy. Hakusai in the normal soil was 22 cm tall and 46 cm wide. Hakusai in the fertilized soil was 25 cm tall and 53 cm wide. Since last week, it grew 7 cm tall and 1 cm wide in the normal soil. In the fertilized soil, it grew 5 cm tall and 4 cm wide. Compared to Hakusai in the normal soil, Hakusai in the fertilized soil looked like fresh.

Reflection
When I entered KIT community garden, I was surprised because plants were much bigger than I saw last week.
I observed by myself.
I also think we should add the soil. Because, soil were washed by rain.

Observation 10/15 (Rie)


 I observed Hakusai Octover 15. It was sunny and hot . According to the weather forcast, the probability of rain was 0%.  At that time, I didn't measure up for the plants. I thought that  there  wasn't much of  a difference in the appearance between Hakusai in  the nomal soil  and Hakusai in the fertilized soil .

Reflection
The plants looked healthy.
When I  was in the garden, my friend happened to be passing by the place.
I  explained about what vegetable is planted. It was fun.

Observation1016-1022 Haruki

This week I observed Hakusai. Last week, It was sunny and a little dry. Hakusai in the normal soil was 15 cm tall and 45 cm wide. Hakusai in the fertilized soil was 20 cm tall and 49 cm wide. Compared to Hakusai in the normal soil, Hakusai in the fertilized soil looks lush green leaves.Leaves of Hakusai in the fertilized soil is bigger than the one in the normal.

Reflection
I felt it was effective to grow plants to use fertilized soil.
Because only difference about soil, the growth rates are clearly different.
When I was in the garden, I felt calm. Then I noticed the power of plants.
I also find a problem. That is, there are so much weeds.

Observation

This week I observed the cabage. Last week, it clouded a lot and the temperature was cool. The cabage in the normal soil was 11cm tall and 24cm wide. Reflection
 
The cabage is being eaten by insects. I see ants. They walk in line. I'm surprised the difference the
 normal soil and the fertilized soil. I feel refreshing in the garden. I went the garden with friends. Hakusai is very big!!

This week I observed the bloccolies. Last week, it was sunny and the temperature was cool. The bloccolies in the normal soil was 20cm tall and 30cm wide. The bloccolies in the fertilized soil was 20cm tall and 35cm wide. Compared to the bloccolies in the normal soil ,the bloccolies in the fertilized soil looks different. The bloccolies in the fertilized soil was bigger than the bloccolies in the normal soil.
